I can analyze your current situation and work out suggestions to streamline your documentation process. The reduction of costs will be only one of the resulting benefits. The gain in flexibility and process reliability will be at least just as valuable.
My primary focus will not be on bringing in new technology (such as more sophisticated authoring tools, content management systems, etc). I will rather aim to optimize the internal logistics of your documentation process. In this field, documentation can still learn a lot from looking at other departments of a company. For example, a lot of general business management methods can be transformed from industrial production to the "production" of technical documentation – often with a surprising benefit and without any financial investment at all.
