User-friendly documentation makes your clients happy and minimizes your support cost. Our common goal should be to find the total optimum between these benefits on the one hand and the money it costs to create the documentation on the other hand.
Calculation base
Certainly you would like to read some precise figures here. However, as projects can be very different, there is no general rule.
As a rule of thumb, the time required will roughly be:
| ▪ | about 1 hour per page for revisions |
| ▪ | about 2 hours per page for new documents |
Hourly rates range from €45 for basic tasks up to about €85 for special consulting.
Please feel free to ask for an individual quotation.
Offers are always based on a realistic estimate, calculated on the basis of long-time experience, not on best-case scenarios as with many competitors. At the end of the project, of course, you will only have to pay for the hours that were actually spent.
By the way: You should not trust any offer based on a price per page (excluding translations). It is much more user-friendly and challenging to present the same information on one page than to fill a dozen of pages unreflectedly. So any price-per-page offer seriously penalizes user-friendly documentation and results in a conflict of interests.

All costs are charged on the basis of flexible 15-minute time intervals. So you do not pay for any "rounding errors" and you are not subject to any minimum purchase.
Start-up and mid-sized companies are just as welcome as large-scale enterprise. Every project will be handled with the same commitment and dedication.

"There is hardly anything in the world that someone cannot make a little worse and sell a little cheaper..." (John Ruskin, 1819-1900).
There are better alternatives, however. Even if your project is on a tight budget we will be able to find a clever solution which uses that budget with maximum effect. For example, we can run an ABC-Analysis to pinpoint priorities and we can then agree on a lean production process to create the documentation.
